Lucy moved in to the shop in Swanage in 2017 to have a base to work and to display her 'Moo Selfie' series. Lucy has become known for her paintings of local landmarks and its rather curious residents, particularly cows but also branching out in to sheep, Donkeys and goats, an ever expanding range. Ideally situated in the heart of Swanage, Lucy's Farm is tucked away in the beautiful courtyard area of Tilly Mead, opposite Java Cafe and just round the corner from the artists at the Purbeck New Wave Gallery.
As well as the Original Artwork Lucy also sells a range of signed prints and gifts including mugs, tea towels, greetings cards and handcrafted stone kitchenware featuring her designs.
But it's not just a shop, Lucy also uses the space as her studio so you'll often find her working away on her latest painting or, one of her other loves, pet portraits. Over the years Lucy has been commissioned to paint all kinds of Pets from Dogs and cats to the more unusual creatures such as tortoises and alpacas. Ned the Sprocker Spaniel is also a big feature of the shop, he is often found supervising Lucy while she paints.
The shop is open 7 days a week except in the winter months when it closes on a Sunday, you can find details of opening hours on the website.
